Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told reporters Paul Pogba is ‘a leader in every sense of the word’ after the Frenchman’s brace helped Manchester United secure an easy 3-0 victory at Fulham.Pogba’s emphatic finish from an acute angle on 14 minutes got the ball rolling for the Red Devils.3

“Hes bringing the team with him, hes a leader in every sense of the word. I’m very pleased with Paul.”The result puts United up to fourth, with fifth-placed Chelsea still to play at Manchester City on Sunday but Solskjaer remained coy on his side’s chances of finishing in the Champions League spots.He added:We cant control what the other teams are doing but we can control ourselves and when you go into the game as a Man United player, a manager or coach, youre confident you can win the game. Its gone well so far.Its a big boost. We spoke before the Leicester [where United won 2-0] game that two there will be two more wins and we reach the top four. We won them with two clean sheets and it was a great contribution by everyone whos played and the squad is very happy. Theres a feeling in the squad that everyone knows that they are able to concentrate. I was part of some fantastic teams here and one of the things the manager always spoke about was that everyone is going to play their part. If we are going to be successful everyones going to play their part and youve got to trust them when you play them.”The Norwegian has won ten of his eleven games since replacing Mourinho at the United helm but his next match could be his toughest test yet as they entertain Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League last-16 first leg.And Solskjaer admitted United couldn’t be in better form going into the crunch game on Tuesday night.3

He said: “I have to say that the eleven games since I came have gone to plan so the players must be confident going into this game [against PSG].We know were playing against a fantastic team and were humble enough to know that we have to work really hard.We need to earn the right to win every game and we did that today with hard graft and resilience, defended well when we had to against some physical strikers and we know weve got some exciting players going forward.”
